In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
Our TEDx event is one of the premiere TEDxYouth-licensed events in the world, operating under the full 100+ TEDx license. Since our very first TEDx event in 2015, our TEDx videos have collectively reached over 2 million views. What distinguishes our event is that we believe students have a place in the global discourse, which is why the core speakers at TEDxPineCrestSchool are students who are curious and insightful, poised and talented--students who will become the leaders and change-makers in the world.
