WhatsApp Names

On Android phones

Launch WhatsApp from your home screen or app drawer.
At the top right corner of your screen, tap more options (three-dot icon) and select Settings.
On the Settings page, tap your profile photo which may be blank.
Tap the edit icon near your display name.
Enter your name and tap Save to confirm all the changes.

On iPhones

Open the WhatsApp group
Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen
Tap on “Group Info” and then tap on “My Profile”
Toggle the “Show My Name” option to on

WhatsApp Read Receipts

On Android Phones

From WhatsApp home page, tap ... menu at top right, then Settings
Tap Account, then tap Privacy
Make sure Read receipts is on

WhatsApp Contacts

On Android Phones

Make sure you are in the ToC Group
Tap ... menu at top right, tap Group info
Scroll down to the bottom of the participants, select View All
Tap on selected participant without a name, select Add to contacts
Type names, then tap Save
