Tasks
Assigned to: Elizabeth
Responsibilities: Position and collimate each phantom accurately for the various anatomical views.
Assigned to: Laura
Responsibilities: Annotate the optimal techniques, kVp, mAs, and exposure values. Handle any computer-related tasks such as data entry and digital image analysis.
Assigned to: Maricela
Responsibilities: Perform the mathematical calculations required to determine the initial and adjusted imaging techniques, such as applying the 15% rule and adjusting mAs.
Assigned to: Group Effort
Responsibilities: As a group, we have created this Google Site to document the final project. This site will include all annotated data, images, calculations, and a detailed description of our methodology and findings.
The purpose of this project is for students to apply the knowledge they have gained over the semester, using available resources, to develop a fixed kVp technique chart.
This chart is created by analyzing the relationships between anatomical structures and considering the various factors necessary to produce optimal images.
