TechCare Repair Limited Shop Warranty

TechCare Repair provides a 7-day limited labor/workmanship warranty and a 25-day limited replacement part warranty, beginning on the date the repair is completed.

If an issue directly related to the original repair recurs within the applicable warranty period, TechCare Repair will inspect the device to determine whether the issue is covered under this limited warranty.

What the Warranty Covers

Subject to the exclusions below, this limited warranty covers:

• Labor and workmanship for 7 days from the date the repair is completed, including defects in workmanship directly related to the original repair performed by TechCare Repair.

• Replacement parts for 25 days from the date the repair is completed, including defects in replacement parts supplied and installed by TechCare Repair.

If TechCare Repair determines, after inspection, that a covered defect exists, TechCare Repair will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part or correct the covered workmanship issue at no additional charge.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this is the customer's exclusive remedy under this limited warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover:

• Cracks, drops, impacts, pressure damage, bending, crushing, or any other physical or accidental damage occurring after the repair.

• Water, moisture, liquid exposure, corrosion, or damage resulting from liquid exposure.

• New problems, symptoms, or failures that are not directly related to the original repair.

• Problems involving components that were not repaired or replaced by TechCare Repair.

• Pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions that existed before the repair.

• Normal wear and tear or deterioration resulting from ordinary use.

• Misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling, or improper storage.

• Software-related problems, including operating system issues, applications, viruses, malware, updates, settings, account problems, or data loss.

• Damage or problems caused by customer-supplied parts or parts not purchased through and installed by TechCare Repair.

• Damage resulting from the installation of additional hardware, modifications, or alterations after the original repair.

• Any device that has been opened, modified, tampered with, repaired, or subjected to an attempted repair by the customer or another person or repair provider after TechCare Repair completes the original repair.

• Cosmetic issues that do not affect the normal operation of the replacement part or repaired function.

• Damage caused by continued use of the device after a malfunction, defect, or other problem becomes apparent.

Warranty Claims and Inspection

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by TechCare Repair. The existence of a problem during the warranty period does not automatically mean that the problem is covered.

TechCare Repair will determine whether the reported issue is a defect in the replacement part, a workmanship issue directly related to the original repair, or an issue excluded from warranty coverage.

The customer may be required to provide the device to TechCare Repair for inspection before warranty coverage can be approved.

Warranty Periods

The applicable warranty period begins on the date the original repair is completed:

• Labor/Workmanship: 7 days

• Replacement Parts: 25 days

Expiration of the labor warranty does not shorten the applicable 25-day replacement part warranty. For example, a qualifying defective replacement part may remain covered during the 25-day part warranty even after the 7-day labor/workmanship warranty has expired.

Warranty coverage applies only to the original repair, original customer, and original repaired device and is not transferable to another device or repair.

Limitations

TechCare Repair does not guarantee that a repair will correct problems unrelated to the original diagnosed issue or prevent other components of the device from failing in the future.

Except for the specific coverage stated in this limited warranty and to the extent permitted by applicable law, TechCare Repair makes no additional warranties or guarantees regarding the repair or replacement parts.

Nothing in this limited warranty is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
