Esto Vir

Who does God call us to be? That is what we are working to know every day….the Esto Vir Award is the highest honor a young man can recieve at camp. This award is given to a young man who has clearly met the call and is working every day to serve God in the best way he can. 

Esto Vir translates to "Be a Man", which sounds bad on the surface. But at Tecaboca we translate this as being a man of God. A real man is one who exhibits the qualities of Leadership, Honesty, Integrity, Humility, Fortitude, Loyalty, Obedience, Spirit of Service and always works to be best man that they can be.

This award is only given to 1 camper per a session and it typically goes to an older camper rather than a younger camper.
