Tecaboca Eagle is an honor bestowed to certain campers who exhibit very strongly the virtues listed below. Campers do not always need to be extroverted leaders to win this award. Some campers demonstrate leadership behind the scenes or silently at times. Regardless, Eagles are people who exhibit strong virtues and stand out from other campers.
Attributes of a Tecaboca Eagle
LEADERSHIP, the process in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task."
HONESTY, the quality, condition, or characteristic of being fair, truthful, and morally upright
INTEGRITY, the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards
HUMILITY, modesty or respectfulness: the quality of being modest or respectful
FORTITUDE, determination: strength and endurance in a difficult or painful situation
LOYALTY feeling of duty: a feeling of devotion, duty, or attachment to somebody or something
OBEDIENCE, the act or practice of following instructions, complying with rules or regulations, or submitting to somebody's authority
CHASTITY condition or quality of being pure
SPIRIT OF SERVICE the act of doing for others, putting others’ needs before your own.
