I took part in a virtual exchange project with students from Malmö University (Sweden) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (USA) as part of the ICT in Education module. As 21st-century educators, this encounter offered a priceless chance to collaborate across cultural boundaries and exchange viewpoints. During our conversations, we talked about global concerns like climate change, concentrating on the elements that contribute to it in our various cities and looking at doable strategies to cut waste and advance environmental sustainability in our nations. Through group discussions and cooperative exercises, the initiative promoted active engagement, which improved my teamwork, communication, and digital collaboration abilities. Additionally, it increased my awareness of the world and my comprehension of how technology can link students from different countries to tackle common problems. All things considered, this experience increased my self-assurance as a prospective teacher ready to instruct in a society that is both ecologically mindful and globally interconnected.
