In a post-COVID world, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi needed something to make it stand out from other parks in the Middle East to help the park recover from its financial losses in 2020. That’s when some brilliant market researchers realized that arcades make money. First the idea was to go with a Cartoon Network theme, but then they realized IMG Worlds of Adventure had the theme park rights for all CN shows in the Middle East. Using radical polls and test groups they realized that everyone was sick of most of the IPs in the park… except for the works of Hanna Barbera.

Including several new arcade machines by Raw Thrills and Sega, laser tag, an escape room, bowling, a ride that gives an overhead view of the entire arcade and an exclusive pinball machine manufactured by Stern based on the world’s most famous cartoon dog, Scooby Doo. What more could you want?
