Join Team Golomboski for our first-ever benefit concert, "Rock the Resort," at The Last Resort! We are trading the comedy stage for a concert stage this year, bringing you an afternoon of live bands, great food, and a community united for a single cause.
This event is hosted in loving memory of Joseph Golomboski Sr.
For us, this fight is personal. Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised goes directly to the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) Rhode Island Chapter to fund critical research and support services. We are Standing Strong Together to honor Joseph’s legacy and to push for a future where no family has to face this disease alone.
Get ready for an epic afternoon of live music! We’ve pulled together some of Rhode Island's best local talent to keep the energy high and the crowd moving all day long.
Headlining Act: 21 Guns Band RI Closing out the day with a massive set! Known as one of RI’s premier high-energy rock cover bands, they’ll be playing all the anthems that get everyone on their feet.

Team Golomboski was founded in 2014 by siblings Joseph Golomboski Jr. and Alicia Golomboski with a single mission: to turn their family's battle into hope for others.
Our story began in 2004 when our father, Joseph Golomboski Sr., was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson’s Disease at the young age of 44. Watching a strong, vibrant father fight a degenerative neurological condition was heartbreaking, but it ignited a fire in us to make a difference.
For 15 years, our dad fought with courage and humor. Even when he entered hospice care in 2019, he summoned the strength to get into his wheelchair one last time to attend Joseph Jr.'s wedding—a testament to his unshakeable spirit. We lost him shortly after, but his legacy lives on through this team.
To date, Team Golomboski has raised thousands of dollars to support local families, funding everything from exercise classes to respite care. "Rock the Resort" is our biggest event yet, and we are throwing the kind of party Joe Sr. would have loved—loud music, good friends, and a community standing together.
Where does the money go? It stays local.
The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is the largest grassroots network dedicated to fighting Parkinson’s disease (PD). But what makes the Rhode Island Chapter special is its direct impact on our neighbors.
Funds raised from this concert will support:
💪 Local Health & Wellness: Funding boxing, yoga, and movement classes.
🧠 Vital Research: Contributing to cutting-edge studies to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
🤝 Patient Support: Providing Financial Hardship Grants and Support Groups for RI families.
📚 Education: Offering resources so no one has to navigate a diagnosis alone.
