Team Golomboski: A Family’s Fight for Hope and Awareness
Founded by siblings Alicia and Joseph Golomboski Jr., children of Joseph Golomboski Sr., Team Golomboski is a Rhode Island nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring hope, and supporting the American Parkinson Disease Association Rhode Island Chapter (APDA RI). The organization was born out of love and the family’s desire to honor their father’s courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Since its formation, Team Golomboski has raised over $20,000 for the APDA RI Chapter and has actively participated in the APDA RI Optimism Walk every year since 2014, first in honor and now in loving memory of Joseph Sr.
Alicia Golomboski serves on the APDA Rhode Island Board of Directors, and Joseph Golomboski Jr. leads as President of Team Golomboski. Through events like “Annual Parkinson's Awareness Month Comedy Show”, the team combines creativity, laughter, and community engagement to unite people in the fight against Parkinson’s.
Team Golomboski’s mission is clear: to empower families, fund critical programs, and ensure that no one faces Parkinson’s alone.
Together, We Stand Strong Against Parkinson’s Disease.
