Summary
The principles that we used were patience and teamwork. We learned that it was harder than we thought to make an affordable bridge that was safe as well. It took a lot of trial and error which could be frustrating at times. However, we worked through the problem as a group and learned that when everyone pitches in, the task becomes a lot easier and less stressful.

Civil Engineering focuses on the design and construction of public infrastructure. It uses math and physics in order to create safe and well designed structures. There are a variety of types of civil engineers including structural, transportation, and environmental.
Building Science
Building Science
Building Science uses different fields of science to ensure the final structure will be the safest. It is also the building scientist's job to ensure that the building will have a long "life", meaning that the building is able to last through many different environmental conditions.
