Course:
First, we wanted to build a course that was simple but incorporated all the sensors that could be used
So we spent a few hours on our own thinking of different ways to build the course (what objects and tiles to use and then brainstormed the ideas as a team)
Then we started experimenting with the different obstacles and testing the robot going through the course
After a day, we finally made our course!
Robot Design/Code:
First, we used the provided sample codes and experimented with them, as a group we tested out different sensors and robots.
Then we made sure we included all the required sensors on the robot.
After many iterations, we decided to use the AnemoBot.
Research Paper:
The first step was researching more about the subject and finding articles that pertain to robots aiding in natural disasters
Next, we wrote the main body of the paper as well as found images and figures that corresponded to the topic at hand
Lastly, we wrote a conclusion and wrapped up our main ideas and as a team edited our paper!
Web Portfolio:
To start the web portfolio we created three pages to organize the different aspects of the project
Next, we worked on finishing the content for each page
And finally, we uploaded and linked our code, research paper, and design process onto our webpage.
