The Secret Chamber

There is a locked door at the back of the Basilica, but what number is the key? Langdon suggests it may be related to the roman numerals hidden amongst the paintings on the walls. Sometimes, the missing number would correlate to the key.

The paintings contain the roman numerals I - XIII with the exception of VII. We enter 7, and the door opens, revealing a hidden chamber. Walking through the dimly lit space we find a number of marked signs in Latin. We can't make much out except for "Doge" being repeated many times.

Reaching the end of the pathway, we find ourselves now outside the Basilica. Langdon contacts us on the walkie-talkies, congratulating us on our findings and suggesting that we visit the Doge's Palace.
