(Streetsmosphere stunt show)
In a quiet corner of Venice, Jason Bourne may have found some useful intel in his battle against the agents of Treadstone. It turns out to be a trap, leading to a thrilling fight that unfolds right in front of your eyes.
(Style of arches for the façade)
Among the streets of Venice, guests might notice a series of large arches that support a covered bridge between some buildings. There are rigs and caution tape set up at a few points around these pillars, suggesting that some construction work is going on. Most might walk past it, assuming it’s just a structure under repairs. However, those who walk through these arches will discover a private courtyard. It is a corner of the city that has seen better days, with some of the buildings showing more wear and tear compared to the main areas that guests walk through. There is even a fenced-off area where construction scaffolding has been set up along a wall, giving space for workers to move up or down in front of a crumbling wall. It is a quiet corner of the city. Almost too quiet…
(Example of scaffolding)
Once it approaches showtime, people begin to turn up in the courtyard. Most of them seem to stick around the storefronts, going into routines that seem tinged with tension. Eagle-eyed guests might even notice someone getting into position on the covered bridge. An Officer walks into the courtyard, telling us to please remain calm and act natural. They require our help by just being a normal crowd on a regular day. As they deliver those words with some tense glances as if looking for someone, a person (Alex) dressed in a shabby suit carrying a backpack (their outfit visually inspired by Simon Ross from The Bourne Supremacy) comes out by the construction rigging. The officer tells them that they know what to do. With that, Alex pulls out their cell phone and makes a call.
(Costume influence taken from Simon Ross)
They talk over the line, telling the other person that they’ve arrived at the construction site and that they have the info they are looking for. Emerging from an alley and passing by the edges of our crowd is a man in a hoodie jacket, with hood drawn up. They are also on a cell phone, hopping the fence at the construction site and taking Alex by surprise. They hang up their phone and pull back their hood, revealing themselves as Jason Bourne. Alex is initially shocked, but then catches Bourne up on what they know. They are a reporter that had been doing some investigating in a murder/robbery in Venice. It had first looked normal, but some incongruities led them down a thread that seems to be tied with Treadstone. As they relay this information, two agents move into position in nearby alleys. Bourne is about to take the backpack containing Alex’s research, when he notices the figure on the covered bridge. He quickly ducks and pulls Alex down with them, narrowly avoiding a sniper shot that rings off a nearby metal drum.
Alex says that Treadstone had threatened their family if they didn’t cooperate, as the agents lunge out of the alley. One goes for Bourne with an attack, as the other starts dragging Alex off. Bourne pushes off the agent grappling him and strikes the one grabbing Alex, telling Alex to run. As they flee, Bourne turns back to the two agents and continues the fight. He defeats them, though during the chaos the Officer passed through and grabbed the backpack, climbing up the construction scaffolding with it. As Bourne gives chase, the “citizens” drop their acts and open fire. Though they fire some good shots, Bourne uses the cover of boards and metal to help block the shots. Eventually, he reaches the top and leaps across the balconies and lower rooftops after the Officer.
Bourne catches up to the Officer, grappling him and telling the agents shooting at him to hold their fire. However, the Officer frees himself, leading to a fierce one-on-one fight between the two. It’s tough, even as the Sniper takes another ricochet that barely misses, but eventually Bourne lands a hard punch that knocks out the Officer. As the Officer tumbles backwards into the window of an apartment, Bourne grabs his gun and takes a quick shot at the Sniper, taking him out. Bourne fires a few wild shots to get the “citizens” to stand down as he takes out his cell phone. Calling someone, he says that he had told Treadstone to leave him alone, but that he will be coming for them. With that, Bourne taking off running with the backpack, ducking through a window as the “citizens” give chase through some alleys. Thus, the excitement around Jason Bourne comes to a close and the courtyard is quiet once more.
