The Judder refinery: SPirit fury

On the outskirts of Yukon Valley is a large oil rig, covered in vines and greenery, as if nature was slowly reclaiming what was once its own. Long since abandoned, the old oil rig houses The Judder Refinery: Spirit Fury, a drop tower attraction. Using a ride system similar to Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, this attraction is sure to thrill, delight, and terrify guests.

The outdoor queue for the attraction winds around portacabins before guests find themselves in the oil rig's cafeteria. Barely recognizable, the cafeteria is covered in all sorts of foliage and overgrowth. After the queue, the preshow is held in a large office area. A live cast member, dressed as a local ranger, informs your group that mysterious sightings have been seen around the oil rig. Your group has been sent to investigate.

The "myserious sightings" mentioned in the preshow spiel are reflected in the oil rig's exterior. At night, projections and lights are used to give an eerie, glowing effect to the entire structure.

Guests are then ushered into the rig's elevator. The elevator rises slowly, creaking every bit of the way up. Eventually, the doors in front swing open, revealing the Inuit skeleton spirit of the north, Ahkiyyini. In a distorted voice, he reveals that the industrial activity in the area has thrown off the balance of nature. He causes the elevator to suddenly drop down as an earthquake shakes the entire rig. As the doors open again several times, he's spotted along with Anirniit, spirits of deceased living things, wreaking havoc on the rig and causing our elevator car to lurch unexpectedly.

At the top of the rig, riders get a stunning view of the entire land with Ice Mountain Rapids and the town laid out before them. In the distance, the rest of the park and Snow White's Castle come into view before the car plummets to the ground. The safety brakes finally deploy and landing in one piece, to (hopefully) live another day.
