Duff Brewery Tour

Attraction Backstory

You are off on a tour of the Duff Brewery in Springfield, meanwhile, the Simpson family are causing chaos in the factory.

Queue Description

The Duff Brewery, including the large beer cuckoo clock, stands at the back of Animation Dominion. Guests go through the Duff branded gates, surrounded by a tall grey brick wall topped with barbed wire, and go round a outdoor queue with old advertisement posters and screens showing commercials on the outer walls then a up and down outdoor queue. Guests then enter the main brewery building, where they walk down a large corridor with the weird bottles from the brewery tour episode placed on shelves on the wall.

Pre-Show

Guests are then guided by cast members dressed as Duff Brewery employees into a theatre with about 24 seats in a amphitheatre layout. A cast member dressed as a tour guide wearing a suit and tie then walks on stage and explains that guests are off on a tour of the brewery but then tells guests to be on the lookout for the Simpson family, who are causing chaos in the brewery. You then exit the theatre and enters the station dressed up as a random corridor.

Ride Vehicle Description

Guests board 6 trains of 4 people themed as golf carts with Duff Brewery branding.

Attraction Ride-Through

The first area is the beer production area, where workers, Lisa and Marge are cleaning up, Bart rides his skateboard round the vats and Homer tries to drain the vat. Next, guests see the Simpsons running as we pass offices where papers slip under the door. We enter the beer tasting facility where Homer and Barney are drinking while Lisa, Marge & Bart are telling Homer to stop drinking. Guests finally enter the warehouse where the Simpsons are caught by Chief Wiggum then guests enter a Duff branded area where the characters say goodbye as we enter the station and depart back into Animation Dominion.

Duff Brewhouse & Shop

The Duff Brewhouse & Shop is supposed to be a old Duff Brewery warehouse.

The Brewhouse is filled with tables made from crates, a very long bar with stools, dart boards and TVs showing actual tv channels from Dubai. The Shop is filled with Simpsons merchandise and Duff beer while the shops has Duff branded machinery and branding as decorations.

THE WATER PARK OF DOOM

Attraction Synopsis

The Simpsons have a day off and are going to Mt. Splashmore, but Bob Terwilliger has booby trapped the park with traps to ruin Krusty's (not so sterling) reputation, and fellow customers are along for the ride of their lives. This water coaster combines elements of rafting, flumes, and normal slides for a heart stopping shirt soaking experience! Afterwards, if you survive the experience, dry off and more importantly buy something, will ya, at Krusty's Beach Boutique, which sells Simpsons merch with a more tropical flair, as well as various sundries like towels and sunscreen.

Soarin' Over Springfield

Attraction Synopsis

Soarin over Springfield is a D-Ticket attraction where guests are hired by Mr. Burns to survey the town in Soarin' style hand gliders. It's basically the HD intro the show with way more mayhem, including a brief detour into the Treehouse of Horror version of the intro.

Guests meander through Mr. Burns mansion before being escorted towards a secret mission. They need to retrieve uranium from the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant so that Mr. Burns can use it to take over the rest of the world. The guests hesitantly accept this offer and proceed towards their hang-gliders that they will use to swoop in on the power plant and take Mr. Burns prized possession.

On the attraction, you begin soaring through the clouds as the famous Simpson introduction typically does before an episode. You then swoop down through the clouds on this simulator attraction, feeling like your actually flying much akin to the sensation on Soarin'. You swoop into the Nuclear Plant and find Homer playing with the radioactive material and taking it home with him, again much like the episode extended intro. Your hang-glider than swoops and swirls through the various areas of Springfield, meeting all assorted characters from the show along the way as you try to catch up to Homer and Mr. Burns prized possession. The attraction that began with a tranquil hang-gliding exercise has now devolved into mayhem as you careen through the streets of Springfield and eventually wind up at the Simpson household as the radioactive material begins to disintegrate. Mr. Burns arrives in the nick of time with a robotic device and flings you and the material out towards the Treehouse of Horrors Simpson intro. You are able to narrowly escape as the material explodes sending you soaring back towards Mr. Burns' mansion and towards the exit of the attraction.

Seymour's Steamed Ham Shack

Near the Duff Brewery, there are various food carts as well, one in particular themed to Seymour's Steamed Hams - from the infamous Seymour Skinner and the Superintendent skit from the show. Feast on Steamed Hams that are clearly grilled as you are distracted from the kitchen fire aka "Aurora Borealis" at this time of year localized entirely within that kitchen.
