According to the World Health Organization, 15 million people suffer stroke worldwide each year. Among these people, 5 million die and another 5 million are permanently disabled. However, this debilitating effects on hand function has encouraged young engineers to find a solution by coming up with innovative ideas such as Robotic Devices For Hand.

According to a 2015 National Health Interview Survey, there were approximately 4.7 million adults in the United States that found it “Very difficult to or cannot grasp or handle small objects” [1].

As of our project is mainly about coming up with a Robotic Glove using Arduino and Node MCU ESP8266 to help stroke patients to rehabilitate their hand movement.
