Example Resources from ADSY PEP FYR

and Insights from the Broader Field

Redesigning the school day and year is a huge opportunity and a fundamental change for students, families and staff. A thoughtful and inclusive planning process may be the most important precursor of effective implementation. Planning must start early, include key stakeholders and voices, and follow best practices. Successful planning requires a strong leader who is positioned to engage a district and/or campus-level planning team. In turn, the planning team commits to establishing a comprehensive vision for the program, owning critical planning decisions and activities, and responding to unanticipated challenges.
