STRATEGIC PLAN
The Strategic Plan template is designed to address the various planning categories required for a successfully redesigned school day and year - including vision and design, instructional approach, staffing, and operations. The plan draws from research evidence, implementation science, and recommendations from experts and peer districts who have previously implemented a Full Year Redesign. Create a copy of the Strategic Plan templates for your district’s use.

The Vision & Strategic Design Tool is designed to help LEAs establish a vision, define goals and early success indicators, and identify resources and activities needed to achieve success.
The Stakeholder Engagement tool is intended to be a brainstorming tool, to help you develop and refine key messages for stakeholders invested in your redesigned day and year, and support the development of an outreach and communications plan.
STEERING/PLANNING COMMITTEE TOOL
The Steering / Planning Committee tool provides a template to document membership on your FYR Steering / Planning Committee. An inclusive Planning Committee is important to the success of FYR.
ANNUAL CALENDAR AND DAILY SCHEDULE GUIDANCE
The guidance included in this document helps you consider key questions and the steps involved in redesigning the school day and year. It also offers potential models for reorganizing your schedule and calendar.
After a few months of implementation, LEAs will want to reflect on progress, what’s working, and what might need to be changed. This tool helps LEAs track and document progress, and capture how well implementation align’s to the LEA’s vision for ADSY Full Year.
This tool is intended to help LEAs compile and summarize data, and reflect on the first year of implementation for ADSY Full Year. LEAs are able to reflect on participating campuses, calendar and schedule changes, enrollment and attendance, satisfaction, academic growth, and alignment to the LEA’s vision and priorities.
This template offers LEAs ideas for how best to communicate the impact of ADSY Full Year. It is an editable template designed to help LEAs describe their redesigned day and year, demonstrate their impact, and share quotes and highlights from key stakeholders, such as students, families and teachers.
