"Growth Mindset"
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.”― Henry Ford
Session 2 we learned how to embrace being a life-long learner. As an educator, it is important to have a growth mindset in order to grow to meet the needs of all your students.
First things first! YOU DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING!
Once you accept this and truly believe it we can move forward.
Repeat after me “I DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING, I ACCEPT I AM A LIFELONG LEARNER” Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset
The only way you will become an effective teacher is if you accept there is so much more to learn and it does not stop once you get your certification, position or degree,
Remind yourself everyday you are open to learning, you want to learn, you are eager to learn and that you will actively pursue learnin
