Congratulations on all your accomplishments and for advancing to the interview stage of your school leadership journey! I know this path has not been easy and has brought up a variety of emotions. I commend you for staying positive, being strong, and not giving up. The interview process and job search can be challenging and may evoke even more emotions. Remember to hold on to your "why," as it should motivate you to keep moving forward. Below are some resources that may provide guidance and support during the interview process. Good luck! 

You may want to explore the digital portfolio section for tips and advice on creating your own portfolio and deciding what to include. Additionally, you can find a copy of my resume that offers ideas for format and sections.  

• Keep track of where you send your resume. Send resume to same school 1-2x a month

• Connect with schools and school leaders on all social media platforms

• Make sure your resume reflects all responsibilities, trainings, and projects you completed 

• Update and personalize the cover letter to fit each school you are applying to. For example, make a connection as to why you would be a great fit.

• Make sure your personality is reflected through your outreach. You want to shine, and make an impression!
