A Brief History of Information Literacy

To situate changes in information literacy in your own context: A) Try to remember how you accessed scholarly information as a student, and compare that to what your students must do today. Which criteria for evaluating information have stayed the same, and which have changed? What has caused these changes? Are the changes positive or negative? In what ways? or B) Based on what you've learned thus far, speculate how research or information literacy might continue to change in the future. Do you anticipate that those changes will be positive or negative, and why?
