Shared materials
Another product of the project was a shared collection of teaching materials. The collection is hosted separately in a Google Drive folder curated by Josh Hood. Josh will organise the materials into searchable content soon.
These materials are designed to lighten the load for teachers, offer ready-made activity structures, and help create more communicative, confidence-building Cornish lessons. Many of the items began as small experiments in real classrooms and were then refined through discussion, feedback and shared experience.
Rather than polished commercial materials, the collection reflects the strengths of the Cornish teaching community: creativity, generosity and a willingness to try new things. You’ll find tools to support planning, ideas for CLT-style activities, prompts for reflection, and simple ways to help learners speak more Cornish in class, all offered in the spirit of collaboration.
As more teachers adapt or contribute materials, the folder will continue to grow. If you have something to add, however small, we’d love to include it. Every shared resource helps build confidence, reduce preparation time, and strengthen the wider Cornish learning community.
