The challenges and opportunities facing Cornish language teaching aren't unique. During the Change Lab we looked together at and learned from other communities around the world who are working to revitalise their minority languages, often developing innovative approaches that combine traditional language teaching with digital technologies and community engagement.
The examples below showcase how other Celtic languages, Welsh, Breton, and Manx along with Basque and other minority language communities, have approached language revitalisation. These cases offer valuable insights into community-based teaching, digital language use, media engagement, and educational institutions that might inform our own practice in Cornwall.
