How do we design courses that go beyond content delivery and invite students to think critically about power, identity, history, and the future of our planet? Dr. Ali will share flexible, interdisciplinary approaches to do exactly that. Using EAC 268: The Gothic Horror Story as a case study, she will show how literature - even genres like horror - can provide entry points for conversations about systemic injustice, cultural memory, and environmental crisis.
