Step 1: Participate in the event
Attend the day’s events on April 29, 2025.
Consider the ideas, strategies or experiences presented during the conference and how they relate to teaching and learning.
Write three reflections on how to incorporate learnings into program/courses and teaching practices.
Step 2: Apply for the badge
Follow the link to the badge application form.
Enter your name and Seneca email address.
Upload your reflections:
a reflection (100-200 words) on a vital takeaway message from Allyson Miller’s keynote session;
a reflection (100-200 words) on an applicable strategy from the Curriculum Integration circuit;
a reflection (100-200 words) on learnings from a workshop and its impact on their approach to teaching and learning.
Indicate whether you wish to share your work.
Submit your application.
Step 3: Claim your badge
Check your Seneca email. If you’ve demonstrated all the criteria, you’ll receive a message after a few days from Seneca Polytechnic via CanCred titled “Claim your ‘Teaching and Learning Day Spring 2025' badge”.
Click on the “Claim your badge” link in the email to send your badge to the eCampusOntario Open Badge Passport.
Step 4: Share your badge (optional)
Set up a free eCampusOntario Open Badge Passport account.
Follow the onscreen instructions to share your badge to social media.
