Dr. Ali will share flexible, interdisciplinary approaches to do exactly that. Using EAC 268: The Gothic Horror Story as a case study, she will show how literature - even genres like horror - can provide entry points for conversations about systemic injustice, cultural memory, and environmental crisis.
