Polleverywhere and Mentimeter are two very similar tools. They are real time, easy to use polling tools.
The free version has their pros and cons. The free version of Polleverywhere only allows 40 participants but there is no limit to the number of questions you create. You may also install the chrome extension and directly insert your questions on google slides. The free version of Mentimeter has no limit on the number of participants but there is a limit to the number of questions you may create and you cannot directly insert your questions in google slides.
I use google slides and I have less than 40 students in my class, hence I prefer to use polleverywhere.
