3 takeaways relating to Global Mindset (3 Capitals)
Cognitive
During my visit to China I learnt alot about Chinese History like how the Chinese fell from the height of their power and how they rebuilt their nation to what they are today.
I also learnt that China are also very technologically advance as compared to Singapore as they barely use cash there and pay mostly through digital transfers
Social
I managed to converse with the local Chinese there as I spoke Chinese myself.
From the conversations I've had with local Chinese, tourists are treated very nicecly by locals compared to how the local Chinese treat each other.
I was able to meet new people and although I was not able to converse with anyone my age, I was still able comfortably hold a conversation with the locals I met
All in all they were very nice people and I was even able to get a few of their contact numbers.
Psychological
This trip to China has made me feel thankful that our government does not restrict as many apps like how the Chinese Government has restricted it.
I found it very inconvenient for me as I was totally not used to using wechat(the whatsapp of China) as compared to using whatsapp normally
I was also restricted to my normal access of social media such as instagram and tiktok
It was a new experience of going a week without any sort of social media at all
It made me realise how addicted I was to social media and helped me to grow as a person
