Hi!
I am an Assistant Professor (Rtd-b) at the Department of Economics, University of Florence (Italy), serving on the Board of two doctoral programs: Social Sciences for Sustainability and Wellbeing (S3W) and Urban Future Studies (UFS).
Currently, I am the Principal Investigator of the PRIN PNRR Project “MUST4Water” and previously led the MIT-UNIPI MISTI Grant project "EMERITUS" in collaboration with MIT and Virginia Tech. In 2024-25, I was elected to the Board of the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE).
I organized the Workshop in Behavioural Ecological Economics at the University of Florence (July 2023) and its associated summer school in Ecological Economics in Pisa. I was the Vice-Chair of the Local Organizing Committee for the XIV European Society for Ecological Economics Conference (ESEE2022) held at the University of Pisa and continue to co-organize ESEE’s annual summer schools in Pisa.
In addition, I co-created the podcast "Back to the Future: Talks on Ecological Economics," in collaboration with Sofia Belardinelli and the University of Padua, aimed at disseminating ecological economics to a wider audience through interviews and comics.
