All NCS Tournament Hosts may apply for NCS Field Liability Insurance for each facility for an event.
Apply for Field Insurance:
Go to the Director's Link inside your tournament host account. Look in the upper right-hand corner of the page and choose from the drop-down menu, "Field Insurance" form.
Fill out the "Field Insurance" form and "Submit". This sends your request directly to the insurance company and they will respond with your certificate in a timely manner (usually 24-72 hours)
Do "NOT " wait until the last minute to send your field insurance requests, as the insurance agency works from 9-5pm, CST on Monday - Thursday and Friday from 9am - Noon.
Hint: Field insurance requests do not need to be requested at the last minute. Once you place your tournament in the tournament profile for approval, go ahead and request your site insurance at that time....
What steps do I have to take as an NCS Tournament Host to ensure my NCS Liability Field Insurance is valid?
All teams "MUST" be an NCS Registered Team for the current season.
All teams "MUST" have a minimum of "8" players with parent "Approval" on their roster before they participate in an event!
All teams that participate in your event, must have an "Approved Uploaded" team insurance policy in the NCS system.
Teams should NOT be handing you insurance policies at team check-in!
Approved team insurance uploads are defined as:
NCS Team Insurance has been purchased through NCS for the current season
Coming Soon:
Automatic "approval" of NCS purchased team insurance that is bought on the spot without having to upload a policy.....this means a team may purchase NCS Insurance at the event and it will auto-approve in real-time!
Uploaded policies from another insurance carrier or organization, that has NCS listed as "Additional Insured"
Additional Insured policies MUST list the following as:
National Championship Sports, LLC
2011 E. Lamar, #120
Arlington, TX 76006
Any team that is "MISSING / DENIED/ EXPIRED" with team insurance upload should NOT be allowed to participate in your event or your NCS Field Liability Insurance is VOID!!!!
COMING SOON:
For NCS to avoid liability issues caused by events that allow teams to play without the proper insurance uploads, NCS will begin invoicing tournament hosts at the rate of $30 per team for those teams NOT having the legal uploads on the day after the event is finished. The insurance company will then "Bind" the tournament for the amount of teams that did NOT upload a current "approved" policy and NCS will be securing liability for a tournament that you held. This can all be avoided by simply ensuring teams do their job up-front with regards to their team insurance!
If the amount invoiced is "NOT" paid by the tournament host in a timely manner, then they will be held accountable by the NCS Board of Directors.
