The Foundation Fighting Blindness is dedicated to funding innovative research to find preventions, treatments, and cures for inherited retinal degenerative diseases. To achieve their mission, the organization funds pioneering research in a comprehensive program that includes cell biology, drug delivery, clinical and preclinical study, genetics, gene therapy, retinal cell transplantation, retinal implants, and pharmaceutical and nutritional therapies.

Tour de Cure is the premiere fundraising event for the American Diabetes Association. Over 30 million Americans are living with diabetes, 84 million people are living with prediabetes and 90% don’t even know it, and every 21 seconds someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with diabetes. We are going to be cheering on all the participants as they start and finish their ride!

Angels For Kids is a non-profit organization that provides specialized therapies for children and adults with special needs! They need 5-10 volunteers to help monitor and work with kids that have special needs. Head for the Cure is a non-profit organization that raises funds, awareness, and hope for the Orlando community. The funds raised benefit Orlando Health's Cancer Center. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premier event that promotes a healthy lifestyle in our community while raising funds for the lifesaving mission of the AHA – to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.

The Alzheimer's Association is hosting a 5K in order to fundraise and bring awareness towards Alzheimer's! The Alzheimer's Association's work is being done to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Volunteers will be assisting with a variety of tasks (set-up/clean-up, check-in, welcome/cheering volunteers).
