Five homeowners from the neighborhood who serve one year terms (April- March). These volunteers are elected annually (in April) by majority vote of all homeowners.

Homeowners are welcome to attend any/all of the TCE Board meetings, whether to observe, ask questions or express concerns. Prior to each meeting the date, time and location are emailed to all homeowners. Meeting information will also visible on our calendar.
What types of meetings are there?
Annual Meeting: Held once per year, on the first Tuesday in April. The election of the five Board positions takes place at this meeting. If you cannot attend this meeting in person, you can submit a proxy prior to the meeting for your vote to count in the election.
Board Meeting: Held multiple times per year, where Board members discuss topics related to the management of the TCE Homeowners Association (such as where we are vs. our budget, discuss any upcoming events, etc.). Any voting during this portion of the meeting is done only by the Board members present. Homeowners can attend and observe, and there is time at the end of every meeting for any questions, concerns, suggestions, etc. from homeowners in attendance.

As indicated above, the election of the five Board positions takes place annually, at the Annual meeting. Documents related to the election are emailed to homeowners, but can also be found here.
Timeline:
January: request for self-nominations sent to homeowners via email
Mid- February: Deadline for self-nominations to be returned
End of February: Nominee details and proxy ballots sent to homeowners via email. Ballots can either be completed at the Annual Election (for those in attendance) or via proxy, submitted prior to the Annual Election.
First Tuesday of April: Annual Meeting and Election
Who can run: Any homeowner in good standing (no maintenance fees past due) is eligible. Only one owner per household may run.
In 2017 improvements and repairs were made to sidewalks in the neighborhood by the Township of Hillsborough. The TCE Board reviewed the neighborhood infrastructure in 2015 (documentation here) and worked with the Township of Hillsborough to get these repairs made for the safety of the community.
