This service directs library users to the appropriate information they need by referring them to other libraries in the Philippines. This service aims to help users access specialized collections and research materials beyond what TCC library can provide. The TCC library is a member of resource-sharing networks such as the Academic Libraries Information Network in Mindanao (ALINET), the Philippine Association of Academic/Research Libraries (PAARL), and the E-Library of Tagoloan Municipal Library under the Memorandum of Understanding. For accessing the resources of consortium member libraries, here is the following guide.
ALINET
Go to the office of the Head Librarian
Fill out the referral form
Present the referral form to the librarian of another library.
PAARL
Go to the office of the Head Librarian
Make a request letter to access specific information and include detailed bibliographic information. This should consist of the author, title, publication year, call number, ISBN/ISSN, volume/issue number for articles, page numbers, and other relevant details.
The library will process the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request and transmit it via email to the lending institution.
OBJECTIVES
To encourage and promote the collection, organization and dissemination of information on research and academic library work;
To develop the usefulness and efficiency of these types of library service and librarianship;
To enhance the professional welfare and mutual aide among its members; and
To cooperate with other organizations of similar aims.
To promote equitable access to and effective use of recorded knowledge in support of teaching, research, scholarship, and community service;
To articulate the concerns of academic and research libraries and their institutions, and influence information policy development affecting the future of academic and research libraries;
To develop best practices and standards for the improvement of these types of library service and librarianship;
To develop a corps of professional librarians and information specialists in academic and research institutions; and,
To cooperate with other organizations of similar aims.
Academic Libraries Information Network in Mindanao (ALINET), formerly Cagayan de Oro Cooperating Academic Libraries in Cagayan de Oro City, is a voluntary inter-cooperation of the six founding libraries. Capitol University (CU), PHINMA- Capitol Colege Cagayan de Oro College (COC), Xavier University, Lourdes College, MPSC, and Liceo de Cagayan University. Fifteen (15) other members from Bukidnon, Iligan City, Ozamiz City, Misamis Oriental, and the CARAGA
ALINet has been involved in several activities geared towards the improvement of the library services of the member-libraries. Its original concept of bibliographic access and physical access to each library's holdings is still the heart of the inter-library cooperation. To date, thousands of students from each member schools have benefited from the resources made available to them. In addition, its cooperative cataloging has benefited a lot of member libraries and has facilitated the processing of materials.

The Tagoloan Municipal Library, Poblacion, Tagoloan Misamis Oriental and Tagoloan Community College Library have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the wide span on the Municipality E-Library services in the Municipality of Tagoloan and allow the Tagoloan Community College to access, connect, and open network to the Municipality E-Library as a counter part facility.
This partnership aims to establish a collaborative environment that enhances access to resources and academic supports which benefiting to the students and residents alike.
