The Twin Cities Coalition for Justice (TCC4J) is an all-volunteer, grassroots community organization dedicated to the fight for justice for those who have been harmed by police.
Founded after the killing of Jamar Clark by the Minneapolis Police Department on November 15, 2015, TCC4J has supported the families of victims of police violence and searched for solutions to prevent this violence ever since.
We have seen too much. The community has suffered too much. And the Mayor, the courts, and politicians continue to allow these abuses of power. We want to take that power back. We want community control over the police.
In addition to our work of gaining Community Control of the Police, Twin Cities Coalition for Justice is a member of the Peoples Action Coalition Against Trump, the Free Palestine Coalition, and the Taking Back Pride Coalition.
We are the Minnesota Chapter of the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression.
Jamar’s story inspired us to launch the fight for community control in Minneapolis, and in his honor, we continue to fight for justice on all fronts!
