For Contestants
Q: What is the check-in time for contestants?
A: Contestant check-in begins promptly at 9:00 AM on the day of the pageant.
Q: What is the registration fee, and when is it due?
A: The registration fee of $200 is due February 1, 2026.
Q: Are chapters responsible for lodging and transportation?
A: Yes, the chapter you are representing is 100% responsible for coordinating and planning arrangements for transportation and lodging.
Q: Will the winner receive any special accommodations?
A: Yes. The winning contestant will be eligible for a hotel reimbursement of up to $200 for Saturday night. This reimbursement may be issued to either the contestant or their sponsoring chapter, depending on who books the room. This accomodation is provided so the winner may attend the Old Gold & Black Banquet and be formally honored that evening. The winner will also recieve the honor of representing the district of Texas at the 80th Annual Southwestern Regional Convention in Oklahoma City, OK. The district will provide lodging accomodations at the host hotel.
For Judges
Q: What time is the call time for judges?
A: Judges are required to arrive no later than 2:30 PM.
Q: What equipment do judges need to bring?
A: The judging process is electronic. Judges should bring a tablet or laptop for scoring. Phones are not encouraged due to screen size limitations.
Q: Do judges need to provide a headshot and biography?
A: Yes, each judge is required to submit a short biography highlighting their background and accomplishments and a headshot.

Q: How can patrons purchase tickets?

Patrons may also purchase tickets at the door with a debit or credit card. No cash accepted.
Q: Is parking available at the venue?
A: Yes, parking is available on-site at the Hilton College Station & Conference Center.
Q: Will food or beverages be available at the event?
A: Food and beverages will not be provided during the pageant. Patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly.
