100% attendance of every participant is expected from the arrival day up to and including the departure day. It is not possible to arrive later, to leave earlier or to skip some workshops/day(s). The activity includes overnight accommodation which is arranged and paid for (including meals during project days). We expect everyone to have overnight stay at the accommodation.
Food, accommodation and transportation are included only during the project dates. Dinner will be provided on the spot on the first day ( 11/06/26).
Breakfast on the last day will take place between 7:30 and 9:00 (18/06/26).
A bus can take you from GenK (not Gent) to Dilsen-Stokkem. From the bus station to the place you'll need to walk approximately 1,5km.
To make sure there are still busses, make sure to arrive in Genk before 19h. More details about travelling in Belgium will be provided on this website when you are selected.
GREEN Travel uses low-emissions means of transport for the main part of the travel, such as bus, train, bike or car-pooling.
For distances under 500 km, participants are expected to travel using low-emission transportation methods.
We highly recommend to take in consideration our ecological footprint. We understand that there are often very long distances. However, we encourage you to consider using at least public transportation or carpooling from your home base to the airport.
In order to count on the green travel budget, all transport must be done in an ecological manner.
If you choose to travel 100% green (e.g. by train, and/or bus only, and/or carpooling), you are entitled to 2 additional travel days, for which you will receive a small allowance, as defined by EU funding rules. If you need any additional travel days beyond that, please make sure to let us know.
100% attendance of every participant is completed from the arrival day up to and including the departure date.
JOETZ is in possession of your personal details and copies of your tickets as proof of transport costs incurred. Therefore a Google drive folder will be used.
You completed a Google evaluation form (during the last day of the activity). We are in possession of your follow-up activity, in which you show us what you have done to share your experiences and inspire others in your (professional) network.
Reimbursement takes place after the end of the project, starting from a set date, and from the moment we are in the possession of what is asked for here above. Be aware that this proces can easily take up to two months, after the project has finished.
Participants will receive a reimbursement for their travel expenses from the place of origin of their association. Travel costs will be reimbursed based on actual expenses, but cannot exceed the lump sum amounts, which are determined by the travel distances (according to the EU Distance Calculator). The lump sums listed in the table (Page: Travel) already have a participation fee deducted (of 55€). If your travel costs remain within this budget, you pay nothing. If they exceed the budget, you (or your sending organization) will need to cover the difference.
Yes it is! However, to organize qualitative Erasmus+ projects, we limit the maximum reimbursement with 55€. This amount is deducted from the reimbursable transport amount and this deduction is already included in the table on the Travel page. Only if your travel costs are higher than this amount, you (or your sending organisation) will have to cover the difference. Overnight stays outside the training period is also at your own costs.
Youthpass is a European recognition instrument for identifying and documenting learning outcomes that are acquired in projects under the Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps programs. So this also counts for your participation in this project. Further explanation about this will be provided during the training course.
