Presidents Responsibilities 

1. Organizes the Bargaining Unit events, Executive Committee, TBU Council, and Political Action

2. Communication to Branch Representative and to members (through email and social media)

3. Liaise with the SCDSB and Provincial OSSTF about Member Concerns

TBU Chief Negotiator Responsibilities 

1. Responsible for local bargaining and an advisor on central bargaining

2. Assists members with sick leave, return to work meeting and LTD

3. Presides over our Collective Bargaining Committee and sits on Working Conditions with SCDSB

TBU Grievance Officer Responsibilities 

1. Specializing in grievance, arbitration, member investigations and discipline.

2. Assist members through medical leave & long-term disability processes

3. Support member through the Attendance Support Program (ASP)
