A nerd like Taylor, Sofia is a sophomore at Cal majoring in Data Science and Statistics. Since last spring broke loose, she has been an intern in the Data Science Discovery Program, doing research and data scraping on COVID-19 vaccine confidence in Southeast Asia. She spent a cruel summer interning at a solar company in Sacramento. She realized she loved basketball in the fall, becoming the Captain of her CoRec Intramural Basketball team. Sofia plays the same instruments as Taylor—ready to teach with every guitar string scar on her hand!

Miaad is a junior at Cal majoring in Business Administration. Although she wishes to pursue a career in real estate and has done various internships in the field spanning from property management to data analytics, music’s the only thing she knows like the back of her hand. As a singer in the Popular Music Conservatory at a renowned arts high school, music was her all-day, every day and where she became an alpha type within the field of music business. As someone who can truly appreciate Taylor as not only an artist but as a businesswoman, she is excited to explore all there is to know about one of the most iconic artists of this generation. Miaad was about to catch a flight to study abroad—but with the feeling she can know so much, chose to come back, be here to teach!

Crystal graduated from Cal in Spring 2023 with High Honors and was a two-time UC Berkeley Alumni Scholar Leadership Award recipient. She studied Economics, Cognitive Science, & Public Policy, but did not learn how to leave the campus! At her day job, she’s an analyst at an economic consulting firm. On her weekends, she’s a philanthropic cyclist. In her midnights, she’s Taylor Swift’s altar ego. Crystal will be (feeling) 22 at the start of Spring 2024—can’t think of a better way to honor that than by launching this DeCal!
