Ancient secret techniques have revealed to you the method to have a poison that is only active when needed, and Inert when not. Perfectly safe to linger on the blade until required, and then act as evidence of innocence after use, exclaiming that there was no poison on the blade.
When you hit a creature with an weapon attack, ranged or melee, you may Expend one of your Raconteur's Inspiration Die to deal an additional 2d6 poison damage to the target once per turn.
The damage scales upon reaching certain levels, increasing as below.
Level 5. 2d8 Level 10. 2d10 Level 15. 2d12
This poison is not trackable by biological means, and acts as a magical liquid, and will show up with techniques or spells that reveal magical effects.
You bind your innocent words with feelings of fear and paranoia. A creature that hears you speak these toxic words could become plunged into a dark mental state.
If you talk to this creature alone for up to 10 minutes, you may attempt to seed paranoia into his thoughts and fear into his mind.
On the conclusion of your conversation, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be frightened for the next hour, until it is attacked or damaged, or until it witnesses it's allies being attacked or damaged.
While under the effect of Venomous Words, the target is paranoid and actively avoids the company of others, including it's allies. The target attempts to seek out what it sees as the safest place it can be, and hides there.
If the target succeeds against the saving throw, the target has no hint that you attempted to frighten it.
Once you use this feature, you can't attempt to use it again until after a short or long rest.
You gain the ability to temporarily adopt a creature's persona.
When you slay a creature with an attack or spell, or a creature dies within 5 feet of you, your incense traps it's shadow at the time of death materialising it into a black thread.
You may capture only the essence of a creature that is the same type as you, humanoid for example, and the approximate same size as you, Small Creature may Capture a Medium or Small in example.
Once the Essence has been captured, you may weave it into a disguise that lets you take on their appearance and surface memory for a short duration.
As an action, you may take on the Essence's appearance for 1 hour, or until you chose to end this effect as a bonus action.
During this time you have access to all information that the character would freely share with a casual acquaintance. This information does not include secrets but includes general information, day to day life, overarching issues that he is happy to talk about.
You gain enough information and mannerisms to pull off a depiction of the Shadow's creature by drawing on it's open memories.
A creature that knows the creature you're disguised as may make a attempt to see through the disguise by making a Wisdom (Insight) check Opposed by your Charsima (Deception) check, though you gain +5 to this check's total.
The disguise, and the rest of the knowledge contained within the disguise is lost at the end of the duration, as the materialised shadow thread dissipates.
As an action you magically whisper words under your breath that only your target within 30ft can hear. The target must make a wisdom saving throw against your Spellsave DC. If it cannot hear you, or cannot comprehend you, it automatically succeeds.
On a successful saving throw, your whispers sound like uninterpretable nonsense and gibberish, mumbling, and it disregards you, having no effect.
On a failed saving throw, it is charmed by you for up to 8 hours, or until you or your allies attack it, or damage it.
The creature interprets your whispers as it's deepest and darkest secret, an extortion that if it does not abide by your requests, that it will have it's secret revealed to all. You gain no knowledge of this secret, it only perceives that you know it.
Whilst charmed, the creature obeys your commands out of fear, but it will not risk it's life or fight for you, unless it was already inclined to do so. The creature grants you favors and gifts as if you were it's closest friend.
As the spell dissipates, the creature has no recollection of why it listened to you or did as you asked in such fear.
YOU may only use this feature once per long rest.
