Rox'Taumok, to them meaning 'kings of the scale', but often referred to as Carion Flayers from their habits on the battlefield, are the scape goat for most rumours and outcasts by all civilisation, only the Briar Pelt Mu'Roh easily tolerate the Taumok, as they both indulge in what other communities and races feel as disgusting and unnatural.
Taumok are descendants of the ancient drakes, these drakes were cousins of the Great Eagle Dragons, which the Corax are descendants of, and so most feel the Taumok and Corax are connected in blood by some ancient common ancestor.
Rarity. Rare, Rox'Taumok are thought of as evil by most communities. Taumok can earn citizenry through family service, to prove them and their family will be constructive to society, at which point they are protected as any other citizen, but must carry their papers and or signet at all times to verify their identity.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age. Young Rox'Taumok grow quickly, reaching early adolesence at age 3, and adulthood at age 15.
Alignment. Rox'Taumok lean towards the extremes, are and rarely neutral, and typically they move towards the Chaotic or Evil alignments due to their culture of hunting other sentients for food, achieving the titles of 'Carrion Flayers', due to thier history of using blood soaked battlegrounds as an open air Abattoir and Feasting hall.
Size. Rox'Taumok are taller and heavier than humans, due to their ancestry, hailing from the ancient Drakes and Wyrms. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages. You can speak and read Common and Gutterspeak.
Primal Ancestry. You have an ancient ancestry of Drakes and Wyrms that grant your blood line unique traits with certain elements. Refer to the Ancestry Table. These ancestries alter your appearance so that those with knowledge of these ancestries should be able to discern with reasonable accuracy your type. Metallic ancestries typically show from lumenesence in their scales, for example.
Primal Lungs. You may hold your breath for twice as long as other races. For a number of rounds equal to double your constituion score.
Naturally Armored. Your hitpoint maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.
Breath Weapon. You can use your action to exhale destructive primal energy. Refer to the Ancestry Table to determin the size, shape and damage of your exhalation.
After you use your breath weapon, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Damage Resistance. You have resistance to the damage type associated with your primal ancestry.
