Turoxs thought of as an abomination. Taking their name from the Ancient Terran, and calling themselves 'Rox' in reference to the Rox'Taumok's 'king of the scales', they are a polarising race. The Terran Ancestors and the Ancient Drakes have always been at war, opposed. Terran kind grew, to survive against their worst threat, Snakes and Saurs, Warm Blood vs Cold Blood, both without flight.
For a Turox to be concieved without force would be either an act of depravity, or devine compassion and empathy. Unlike Rax Blood, which resulted in a close form to both, a Turox becomes something primal for both Terrans and Taumok alike. Their legs, once strong and pround on the ground, earth beneath their toes and claws never to be touched again, as they never develop, instead a great and strong tail continues to form. From their bellies to the tip, slated scales form for ease of movement and protection for the weakest parts of both Taumok and Terrans. Their upper bodies remain mostly humanoid, retaining a hard and course hair that spouts from scaled brow. Though not fully scaled, certain points, suh as the chin, and the sides of the neck to the shoulders, etc become hardened. Some even begin to sproud dorsal protusions, resulting in stability underwater acting like fins.
Turox are forever changed, orphaning their Taumok relatives, and are no longer able to procreate from them. Turox can breed between themselves easily, though they hunger for diversity and so are rarely with a partner for more than one breeding cycle, and there are rare rumours of Terran or Rax Blooded men being tempted by the scaled temptress Turox, using the the men as new sources for prodginy and diversity.

Age. Turox grow rapidly compared to Terrans, they gestate for around the same time as Humans, but at birth they are inside an egg. In this form they are concious but in a meditative form, and grow rapidly to the size of a todler. During the egg meditation, Turox gain genetic memory, and could be hatched early with a longer growth period, but miss out on the genetic memory they gain through osmosis in the egg process. Turox shed 4 times a year when growing, and reach adulthood around 14. Having gone through 56 sheddings. Upon reaching this adulthood, their shedding slows to once a year. Turox never stop growing, but have no recorded elders, or death of old age.
