December Results
The initial testing setup is comprised of the following systems:
1.Alien RFID ALR 9680 Reader
2.Raspberry Pi Model B+
3.Breadboard
4.DHT22 Temperature-Humidity Sensor
5.LEDs
The following block diagram describes the initial setup, however, the solenoid valve and relay are currently being substituted for LEDs as those systems have not be determined yet, as can be seen in the picture below. The LEDs turning on simulates the solenoid valve activating when the appropriate THI is reached. A text file is also produced recording the temperature, humidity, and THI to verify accuracy. The system was programmed utilizing Ruby.
