Tarang Tripathi

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Education Studies at UC San Diego, where my dissertation examines how teacher education, agency, and leadership intersect with emerging challenges in education  equity, policy and practice. My broader research projects explore the role of AI in education, international education and development, inclusive education. By integrating these areas, I aim to advance equitable, data-driven, and innovative solutions to improve educational systems globally. I have also been an Associate instructor for the past two years at the department of Climate and Education at the same institution.

Methodologically, I specialize in mixed methods research (quantitative and qualitative), social network analysis, and large-scale data analysis, applying these approaches to study educational leadership, instructional practices, and  technology-driven innovations. I have experience in funding acquisition and project management, serving as Co-Principal Investigator on two large-scale RCTs and overseeing multiple research initiatives. Additionally, as Co-Founder of Aawaaz Education Services, I have led efforts in teacher training, policy engagement, and education equity initiatives for more than 50,000 students and 10,000 teachers.
