We may not be having a National Conference but nothing will stop us from having a dance off! Here is TAPHE's entry!

Join your national association and research council and support the common vision of quality physical and health education in Canada.  Once you are a member you can share information; make connections; and gain access to strategies, tools, and resources to drive our common objective. In addition, members and supporters benefit from exclusive access to physical and health related networking and career development opportunities, and special incentives and savings.

Looking for something new to try with your PE classes? Check out East Coast Outfitters!

East Coast Outfitters (ECO) has extensive options for groups of all sizes and ages. With school groups we usually do a 2 hour sea kayak tour/paddle and sometimes after the paddle school groups opt for a food options. You can see all options here: www.eastcoastoutfitters.com/tours - click on the group tours tab.

What ECO would like to do specifically for PE teachers across the province is help you submit your application to your respective centre for education in order to get approval which is one of the greatest hurdles to getting kids paddling. No matter where they are in the province, not only would we like students to visit our site and participate in paddling but also other places that offer paddling opportunities for students.

We are based in Lower Prospect and would love to hear from you!

It's important to encourage participation in activities but remember that it should be FUN for the child!

Be positive, be encouraging, be supportive!
