Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Overview
Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration.
Early in the morning after breakfast, proceed directly to the Crater floor for a full day crater tour (Hot lunch included).

Visit the world famous archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge, also known as the Cradle of Mankind. Explore the quaint little museum and marvel at the rugged landscape.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals.
At the end of Safari our driver will drop you off to aiport for you to catch your flight.
