Working with SIP has provided me with an invaluable opportunity to work directly with a company and its unique culture. The JW Marriott was a great home to my first internship, I learned so much through the guidance of managers, clients, and my peers. I have been taught how to communicate, work proactively, and know how to face the challenges of the day on my own. My next step after SIP is to use the insights I have gained from this experience, such as collaboration and proactive problem-solving, to pursue an internship focused on direct marketing, specifically digital marketing. SIP has helped me to develop essential consumer satisfaction skills, next I hope to build upon my skills to become proficient in technical areas that are essential for product/content development. 

To achieve my next step, I will first update my experience on my resume to qualify myself for potential internships. I will then actively pursue internships that will provide me with the learning experience that will provide me with work focused on data analysis, digital editing and using production software. An example of such internship that I am wanting to pursue is a student intern with the IU Media school. This internship focuses directly on digital marketing, which would be the perfect opportunity to grow in the skills I need to improve upon. 

These next steps will help me to reach my career goals because becoming proficient in such skills mentioned before are crucial to do well within the roles I am interested in Digital Marketing. Combining customer satisfaction skills with proficiency in data analysis and software usage, I will establish myself as a credible candidate to potential employers.
