First 5 days; the aim of the first stage is to prepare the components that will constitute the toolkit. In this stage, standard OSB wood boards provided by sponsors are used, and the designed components of the toolkit are expected to be produced and prepared to be placed inside the box.
Expected Outcome:
- Manufacturing the assembly details of the resulting wooden parts
- Correct positioning of the parts and completion of the toolkit
This production will be carried out by the participants, who are students from the university's architecture faculty.
Last 2 days, in the second stage, the aim is to experience spatial combinations using the elements of the toolkit that were produced in the first stage. In this stage, different spatial needs are identified, and students allocated into groups are expected to experiment with combinations that address these needs using the components from the toolkit. At the beginning of the day, sketches are made and drafts are produced. Throughout the days the production continues. Finally the next day, the created combinations are presented to other subgroups, experienced by everyone, and the outcomes are reported.
Expected Outcome:
- Determination of possible configurations
- Identification of various community needs
- Experience of spatial combinations
