Singles K/O Rules
145. Two separate Singles Cup competitions shall take place, the first being for players in teams who positioned in the top half of the league final standings. The second competition for those teams positioned in the bottom half of the league final standings.
146. A player whose team’s position is in the bottom half of the final standings may opt to enter the top half standings competition, but a player whose team’s position is in the top half of the final standings may not opt to enter the bottom half standings competition. A player cannot play in both Singles competitions.
147. The Game shall be 501, Straight/No Double Start, Double Out, and No Bust Rule to Apply. Once a player reaches win there is no need to complete any further legs.
148. All rounds will be Best of 3 Legs until the Semi-Final and Final, which shall be Best of 5 Legs.
149. A ‘Bull-Up’ by the players will take place before commencing the game, The player drawn first shall throw for ‘Bull’ first, with the winner of the ‘Bull-Up’ receiving first throw in the odd legs, the opponent will receive first throw in the even legs.
150. In the event of any Game reaching a deciding leg, a further ‘Bull-Up shall be made, to decide who throws first in this final leg. The player drawn first shall throw for ‘Bull’ first. In the event of a deemed Nearest Bull Draw, the players shall swap over, and alternate first throw in event of further deemed draws.
151. The Losing player in each Game shall remain at the board to mark the next game. In the event this player is unable to mark the game, it is their responsibility to find an alternate or notify the committee to assist.
152. All entrants must be at the venue and registered for 20:30 draw, games to commence at 20:45. Any team not on the oche/starting on time shall be disqualified.
153. To be eligible to play in the Singles Cup a player must have played a minimum of three league nights that season. The league nights can be either League Fixtures or Cup Fixtures, but two cup rounds in one evening only count as one night.
Doubles K/O Rules
138. The Game shall be 701, Straight/No Double Start, Double Out, One Leg, and No Bust Rule to Apply. Once a pairing reaches win there is no need to complete any further legs.
