What is a Guardian?
The TCC Guardians dedicate their time to the planning, coordination and facilitation of events.
A guardian gives their time, energy and enthusiasm to actively take part in the co-creation of gatherings
They actively nurture the evolution of the Talking Circle Community
They are open to personal development through sharing and receiving knowledge and skills
What are the responsibilities of a Guardian and how do I become one?
In order to become a TCC Guardian and be added to the telegram Guardian group it is essential that you:
Resonate with the mission and vision of the Talking Circle Community
Attend a minimum of two (2) TCC Gatherings
Participate in at least two (2) TCC Guardian meetings, either on-line or in person, as a silent observer
Commit to active participation* in the coordination and facilitation of Gatherings
Commit to reading the notes of the previous meetings and report back to the rest of the Guardians regarding responsibilities/roles one has volunteered to take responsibility for
Be open and willing to participate in personal development both individually and with the group
Be accountable to one another and the Vision and Mission statement
Offer encouragement and enable enthusiastic commitment to one another through mutual support and the rotation of roles in order to avoid burnout
It is important to note that TCC Guardians only make decisions related to the functioning of the Guardians and the organizing of the Gatherings. They do not make conclusive decisions on other subjects. All other subjects are to be decided by the community members at the gatherings.
Do you resonate with the above?
Then what are the next steps to become a Guardian?
